BY CAR: FROM M25 Leave M25 at Exit 12. Take direction: Central London & M3. Exit at end of motorway (Sunbury) and follow signs for A308 to Hampton Court. Passing Kempton Park racecourse on left, take next road on left (approx. 1 mile) – Percy Road, over railway level crossing take second road on right – Priory Road and first left into Chestnut Avenue. No. 16 is half-way down on the right hand side. BY CAR: FROM CENTRAL LONDON: A4 to Hogarth Roundabout, take 2nd exit A316 (signposted: The South West). Keep on this road to Apex Corner (Jct A305/A312/A316). Exit left and follow signs to Kingston/The Hamptons. Take second exit at roundabout – A312. At 2nd mini-roundabout turn right – Broad Lane. Continue to 2nd cross roads with shops on left, turn left into Percy Road, first left into Holly Bush Avenue and first right into Chestnut Avenue. No 16 is half-way down on the left hand side. BY TRAIN: FROM LONDON/WATERLOO STATION Take SouthWest mainline train to Hampton station on the Shepperton Line. Walk over railway bridge, turn left into Ashley Road, past school on right-hand side. At T-junction turn right onto Percy Road, take first right onto Priory Road, first left into Chestnut Avenue. No 16 is half-way down on the right hand side. If you want to avoid walking over the bridge - exit station, turn right onto Station Road and right again at T-junction onto Percy Road, walk over level crossing, take 2nd right into Priory Road and first left into Chestnut Avenue. FROM THE AIRPORTS: Heathrow – Taxis are readily available and we can also give you the numbers of local mini-cab firms who will meet you at the airport. Negotiate the price first. Buses – No. 111 is direct but takes a circuitous and somewhat scenic route to arrive in Hampton. Gatwick – Approximately 45 minutes by car/taxi. Alternatively, take the local train (not Gatwick Express) from Gatwick station to Clapham Junction station. Change platforms and take the train to Hampton (on the Shepperton Line), then follow directions as per arrival by train detailed above.. Stansted – Take the train to Liverpool Street station, change to the Underground and take the Circle Line to Embankment. Change to Bakerloo or Northern Line to Waterloo Station and follow instructions for train as above. |
